Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an OR Support Technician to assist nurses and maintain a sanitary, safe operating room environment. You will help transport specimens and instruments, move surgical equipment, and ensure all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected daily.

The role requires basic patient care assistance, stocking of supplies in surgical suites, and adherence to hand hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting specimens and instruments.
• Assist with moving surgical equipment.
• Cleans the OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Assist nurse with providing basic patient care.
• Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated.
