Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year med-surg experience preferred. Successful completion of orientation.
• Licensure/Certification: CNA program preferred; BLS certification required or obtained within first month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from surgical area and assist in bed linen changes.
• Assist in transferring patients from carts to beds in OR and act as limb holder for prep.
• Provide assistance to housekeeping for room turnover and stock rooms with linen, equipment and supplies.
• Order storeroom and office supplies for OR, Anesthesia and PACU; stock assigned areas.
