Job summary

You will work with the Holding Area Clinical Manager, provide performance feedback, handle training, and ensure policy compliance. The position emphasizes compassionate, personalized experiences for patients and teamwork with nursing and support staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: none.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow instructions.
• Ability to work various shifts for extended periods as determined by the director.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists the OR Environment/Holding Area Clinical Manager with planning, organizing, scheduling department workload, and daily assignments.
• Assists with managing departmental employees, providing daily performance feedback, and participating in interviews and training.
• Inspects physical condition of the facility and takes corrective actions.
• Assists with patient preparation and transport within the age/needs of the patient population.
• Collaborates with Holding Area Nurse to provide staffing resources.
• Ensures safe care and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies within budget and time management.
• Supports growth and development; mentors less experienced staff.
• Models compassionate, personalized experiences for patients and colleagues.
