Job summary

Qualifications

• Required BLS certification.
• Graduate of surgical technology program or CST certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior unit clerk or nurse's aide experience preferred.
• Ability to scrub for surgical procedures is highly desirable.
• LPN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical, clerical, and environmental duties as directed by the RN.
• Assist surgeon during the intraoperative phase under RN circulator and surgeon guidance.
• Ensure perioperative patient safety and quality of care.
