Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Monitor vendors, students, and reps, ensuring documentation before entering restricted areas.
• Assist in scheduling urgent and emergent surgeries/procedures.
• Coordinate equipment needs and contact service line coordinators for issues.
• Maintain control over OR schedule and review procedure lengths with surgeons.
• Work with Service Line Coordinators on OR schedules and case placement.
• Receive and document staffing phone calls.
• Create and verify OR surgical procedures.
• Monitor, audit, and document Temptrak.
• Ensure complete documentation for medical concerns (e.g., allergies).
• Initiate emergency staff call-in processes and log callbacks.
• Print peri-procedure related documentation.
• Transport equipment and specimens as needed.
• Generate daily schedules and end-of-shift reports.
• Enter and update Anesthesia Assignments when appropriate.
