Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in Rhode Island.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island.
• Requires up to one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to peri-operative patients, including charts review, meds, IVs, ECG, venipuncture, catheterization and other treatments as prescribed.
• Initiates life-saving procedures, including CPR when necessary.
• Participates in planning and implementation of nursing care plans.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with physicians; adjusts care as needed.
• Maintains patient records with treatments and vital signs.
• Assists in directing staff and training new nursing personnel.
