HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an OR RN PRN to join our team. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, educate families, prepare patients with IV therapy and medications, and participate in site verifications and safety protocols to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced operating room.

You will work with a diverse, interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process and critical thinking to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Qualificações

• BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures and peri-operative care.
• Prepare patients, including IV therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care within evidence-based practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team including providers and surgical staff.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and technical skills to care for patients.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes and care provided.
