Job summary

Heywood Healthcare Inc. is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join the perioperative team. The role includes circulating and scrubbing in surgical cases, monitoring patients, and administering moderate sedation per policy.

The RN will participate in on-call rotations and adhere to strict infection control and safety standards. Current MA RN license is required; ACLS/BLS as applicable, with CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license required.
• ACLS upon hire or active BLS with ACLS within 60 days.
• Recent OR experience required.
• CNOR preferred.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills required.
• Must take call per unit rotation.

Responsibilities

• Circulates and scrubs in surgical cases.
• Monitors patients and administers moderate sedation in select cases.
• Takes call per operating room rotation.
• Maintains sterile fields and ensures correct handling of supplies and instruments.
• Documents care and reports to the health care team.
• Provides patient care per standards of care and policies.
