Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our facilities. You will promote the mission and values, assess patients, and develop individualized perioperative plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

This role requires active nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS, and experience in OR settings; pediatric coverage depends on facility scope. Strong teamwork and commitment to patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing specialty certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
