Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to support perioperative patient care across a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes promoting the company values and delivering high-quality nursing care in the OR.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, 1 year of OR or surgical experience, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric services are included). The position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days of employment.
Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
