Job summary

SCA Health in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR to support perioperative patient care and planning. You will assess patients, develop individualized perioperative plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active NJ license, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included). OR experience is preferred and perioperative certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment, ACLS within 90 days, PALS if pediatric care is included.
• Specialty perioperative nursing certification preferred.

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
