Job summary

SCA Health in New Jersey is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to promote patient-centered perioperative care. You will assess patients, develop perioperative plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality outcomes.

Required are an active RN license, BLS/ACLS within timeframes, and pediatric preparedness if applicable. Perioperative certification is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package supports your health and financial future.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or active certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employmentor active certification.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days of employment.
• Perioperative Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
