Job summary

SCA Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our team. The RN will promote the mission and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver perioperative care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state license, BLS and ACLS within 90 days, and PALS if pediatric care is included. OR experience preferred; perioperative certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state nursing license in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in the facility scope, within 90 days of employment.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative care episode.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative care.
