Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for OR (Peds) in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers self-scheduling with competitive pay and benefits for pediatric acute care OR cases.

Requires OR experience in pediatrics, Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Start date is ASAP upon credentialing, with W2 employment status.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
• CNOR highly preferred

Responsibilities

Contract Details

• Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital
• Employment Type: Self-Scheduling (PRN)
• Primary Units: OR (Peds)
• Pay Rate: $48-$52 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling
• Shift Availability: Varies
• Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed
• Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress

• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
