Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced OR RNs for pediatric patients in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible self-scheduling and W2 employment. Candidates with OR experience in pediatrics are strongly encouraged to apply.

Earn $48–$52 per hour with weekly pay; benefits may be available based on eligibility. Start date is as soon as credentialing is complete, with a focus on safe patient care in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care OR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and perform assessments and interventions to ensure safety during surgery.
• Assist physicians in executing the plan of care and ensure continuity between the bedside and the OR.
• Support perioperative workflow and document care accurately for handoffs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)
• Ohio RN License required
• BSN degree required or in progress
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must have American Heart Associtation Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
