Job summary

BayCare in Tampa is seeking an Operating Room RN for a part-time role at St. Joseph's Women’s Hospital. The position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience, with preference for OR experience, and is scheduled for four 8-hour shifts per bi-weekly pay period.

Responsibilities include direct patient care in the OR, supervising other team members, and acting as preceptor/charge nurse as needed. BLS and ACLS are required or department-specific.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification if required by department
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, OR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using nursing process and standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to health care team
• RN accountable for professional development per national standards
• RN may serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
