Job summary

BayCare in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role requires a minimum of two years of RN experience and at least one year in the OR. Responsibilities include providing nursing care for a subspecialty patient group, delegating care tasks, and upholding professional standards.

Works full-time with shifts 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, in person at St. Anthony's Hospital. Training and certifications such as BLS and ACLS may be required per department.

Qualifications

• RN with 2+ years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using the nursing process.
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development per best practice standards.
• RN may serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
