Job summary

Regent Surgical Health in Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time Operating Room RN to join our team. You will deliver intraoperative patient care, maintain sterility, verify medications, and assist surgeons while monitoring vital signs.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license in the state, with BLS/ACLS/PALS as required. No on-call, weekends, or holidays; schedule is Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by ASC policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Prepare patients for surgery by disinfecting skin and positioning them.
• Verify name, strength and dosage of medications.
• Assist surgeon during procedures and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment readiness.
• Document nursing care and communicate with the team for continuity of care.
