Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an OR RN to provide patient-centered care in a busy operating room. You will scrub and circulate on diverse surgical cases, following evidence-based nursing practices and standards of care.

The role requires a New Jersey nursing license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of OR experience. Strong teamwork, multitasking, and independent work skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification is required.
• BSN or must obtain within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of OR RN experience required.
• National certification preferred.
• Must be a self-starter who works well independently.
• Time management and prioritizing skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients and health care team regarding status and plans.
• Responsible for patient satisfaction and care experience according to standards.
• Medication administration with safe delivery using clinical documentation technology.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge for safe transition of care.
