Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks an experienced Operating Room RN to join a high-performing surgical team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous education. Scheduled hours are 36 per week with a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
• BSN is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025; older hires held to prior requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement and coordinate care with time, resources, and multidisciplinary input.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed.
• Promote professionalism, comply with regulatory standards, and ensure accurate documentation.
