Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis is seeking a perioperative nurse through our OR Fellowship Program to transition from student to professional nurse. You will learn scrub and circulate skills with OR Educators and preceptors while delivering high-quality patient care.

This day shift position (7a–3:30p) includes Magnet-level teamwork, orientation for OR staff, and opportunities to participate in interdisciplinary process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred; Indiana RN license.
• Registered nurse must be from a nationally accredited program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS may be required per unit.
• Candidates with >2 years acute care may be considered if not from a national program.

Responsibilities

• Learn scrub and circulate responsibilities in the OR.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams and process improvements.
• Engage in Magnet-designated care standards and OR education.
