Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room in Fishers, IN. This part-time, day-shift role supports patients before, during, and after procedures, performing scrub and circulating duties as part of the surgical team.

You will assist surgeons, prepare rooms and instruments, and ensure patient safety in a high-stakes operative environment. A diploma and Indiana RN licensure are required, with ALS/BLS prerequisites and prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Indiana required.
• ALS or BLS within the indicated timeframes after hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing procedures.
• Perform scrub functions: select and handle instruments and supplies.
• Conduct circulating nursing duties: monitor, record, communicate patient condition and manage care.
• Directly assist surgeon with hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure and patient positioning.
