Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an OR RN in New Jersey to deliver exceptional patient care in a busy operating room. You will scrub and circulate on various surgical cases, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes while collaborating with the surgical team.

Required are an active NJ nursing license and AHA BLS/CPR. A BSN or enrollment within three years is expected, with a minimum of one year OR nursing experience and a strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required.
• BSN or must obtain within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care for safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team regarding patient status and plans.
• Ensure optimal patient and guest satisfaction and care experience according to HMH standards.
• Medication administration using latest clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Provide patient and family centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines to manage the plan of care from admission to discharge.
