Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide holistic patient care within a team-based model. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with patients and families, following the Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning with measurable goals, SBAR communications, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN within 5 years of hire; MSN/DNP not required but may supersede.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments using The Christ Hospital model.
• Develop, coordinate and revise care plans with patient and family; set measurable goals.
• Communicate the plan via SBAR and handoff to all team members.
• Respond to emergencies with controlled precision and safety measures.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in staff meetings, council activities and professional development.
• Adhere to hospital policies, complete required training and attendance rules.
• Maintain competency in point-of-care testing and clinical specialty areas.
