Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide holistic patient care in line with the hospital’s Professional Practice Model. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within a patient-and-family centered framework, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, SBAR communications, discharge planning, and ongoing education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN must hold a current license to practice nursing in Ohio.
• BSN within 5 years of hire is required for new hires after January 2010.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Develop and coordinate plan of care with patient and family using the Nursing Process.
• Implement evidence-based care, adhere to hospital policies, and collaborate with care teams.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and maintain clear handoffs during transitions.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentor peers, and participate in ongoing professional development.
