Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an RN to join the Nursing team. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of evidence-based nursing actions within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The successful candidate will have Ohio RN licensure, BLS prior to patient contact, ACLS within six months for critical areas, and BSN within five years of hire. MSN/DNP not required but preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio; BLS required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months in step-down/ICU areas; BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire; MSN/DNP not required but supersede BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Performs holistic patient assessments across physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Develops and communicates plan of care with patient/family using SBAR; participates in care conferences.
• Delivers evidence-based nursing actions; delegates appropriately; maintains safety and infection-control standards.
• Continuously evaluates nursing care effectiveness, adjusting as needed and ensuring smooth handoffs to the next shift.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the electronic medical record reflecting the plan of care.
• Demonstrates leadership by mentoring peers, participating in professional development, and engaging in unit initiatives.
• Follows attendance and training requirements; completes all mandatory education on time.
