Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Denton, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to join a team-based, patient-focused environment. This full-time evening shift runs 11:00am–11:00pm with call required.

The role requires a Nursing Diploma or higher and RN licensure. One year of OR experience is preferred; BCLS required and ACLS within 90 days. You will contribute to safe, high-quality patient care and collaborate with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• RN clinical skills and patient care abilities.
• RN licensure required or in progress; board eligibility as applicable.
• 1 year OR experience preferred; residency completion acceptable.
• ACLS required within 90 days; BCLS prior to independent care.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient safety, physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Engage families/caregivers in care planning.
• Collaborate with surgical team for safe patient care.
• Maintain professional behaviors and effective communication.
