Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical job-related experience.
• BSN in Nursing or equivalent.
• Texas RN license required; BLS certification.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care with clinical judgment.
• Ensure safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations.
• Oversee care delivered by the patient care team; coordinate plan of care.
• Educate patients and families, recognizing diverse needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Advocate for patients and resolve ethical/clinical concerns.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC.
• Protect patient health information (PHI).
• Adhere to infection prevention initiatives and hygiene protocols.
• Deliver competent care with team orientation and sound clinical judgement.
• Continuously assess patient condition and adjust treatment in collaboration with the care team.
