Job summary

Azkrmc is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care under the direction of physicians in accordance with the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act. The RN will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and continuously evaluate patient responses while maintaining compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma, active Arizona or compact RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire (Pediatrics).
• ACLS and PALS certifications within specified timeframes per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate nursing personnel and patient care quality and satisfaction.
• Assist with orientation of new staff to the unit as requested.
