Job summary

North Central Surgical Center in Dallas, TX, part of United Surgical Partners International, seeks an experienced registered nurse for operating room duties. You will provide patient-centered care, collaborating with surgeons and staff to support safe, efficient procedures in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of OR experience, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year of OR/surgery experience.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enact the hospital's mission.
• Collect data based on patient needs for proposed interventions.
• Address physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of work.
• Follow AORN standards and function as a team member.
• Complete initial and annual competencies and maintain licenses.
• Attend required department and hospital meetings.
• Continue education requirements.
