Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. This full-time day shift position runs Monday through Thursday in 4x10-hour blocks with an on-call commitment bonus of $15,000 over two years.

The RN will care for surgical patients, develop individualized nursing plans, and perform procedures within the Iowa Board of Nursing scope. Strong BLS/ACLS credentials and prior OR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with current Iowa RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• One year OR/surgical area experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room under the supervision of the Director.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients.
• Perform procedures within the scope of nursing practice as defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
