Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years Operating Room experience required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates MercyOne/Trinity Health mission and values in daily practices.
• Prepares for and assists in surgical cases with minimal direction.
• Ensures aseptic technique and patient safety in the operating room.
• Collects and analyzes data to support nursing diagnosis.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Maintains equipment setup, turnover, and room readiness.
