Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Main Operating Room team on-site. This full-time, day-shift role includes on-call responsibilities, a five-shift weekly schedule (6:45am–3:15pm), and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Requires Illinois RN license and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Must position/transfer adult patients and stand for long periods.
• Ability to perform IV insertion and IM injections.
• Care for patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and coordinate with surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and assist in patient hand-off from pre-op to OR.
• Maintain charting and care for patients during and after surgery.
• Liaise with families and surgeons during the procedure and provide updates.
