Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room for a full-time, day shift with an opportunity for overtime. Must have OR experience and Florida RN licensure, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses.

Join a 235-bed acute care hospital owned by Universal Health Services, committed to safety, teamwork and continuous professional growth. Candidates should be willing to float and cross-train as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Previous OR experience.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (current upon hire).
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Must be willing to cross train and float to meet facility needs and perform on call duties as required.
