Job summary

Jefferson Health, Abington Memorial Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts in the operating room. The role requires OR circulating and scrubbing experience and offers 4 x 10-hour day shifts.

The nurse will provide patient- and family-centered care, develop individualized plans of care, and participate in safety and quality initiatives within a dynamic OR team.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to assess patients and plan care.
• Educate patients and care partners about conditions, treatments and medications.
• Knowledge of medication administration and prescribing considerations.
• Discharge planning and arranging follow-up care.
