Job summary

Jefferson Health in Abington, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room night shift, 7:00 pm–7:00 am. Prior OR circulating and/or scrubbing preferred. Emphasis on patient-, family-centered care and safety.

The role requires collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality perioperative care and promote continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA required).
• BSN or higher degree preferred within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to provide quality perioperative care.
• Uses nursing process and evidence-based practice to plan and deliver care.
• Identifies learning needs and educates patients and designated care partners.
• Maintains safety and quality by following established nursing practices and protocols.
• Works within inter-professional teams to ensure coordinated care.
