Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time position provides surgical patient-care in a fast-paced environment with a daytime schedule and on-call as required.

Requirements include an ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license (or compact with NJ endorsement) and BLS. BSN is preferred; a minimum of 1 year hospital experience is desired. The hourly wage range is $47.85–$64.04.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and documentation competency.
• Completion of orientation programs and related competency.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care consistent with the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with care providers to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Identify safety issues and participate in continuous improvement.
