Job summary

Jefferson Health in Abington Memorial Hospital, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role supports circulating and scrubbing tasks with four 10-hour day shifts and requires prior OR experience. A BSN is preferred and a current PA RN license is required.

The nurse will deliver patient- and family-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and participate in safety and quality initiatives to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice (PA).
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree BSN or equivalent strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, families and staff per Jefferson values.
• Educate patients and families to address learning needs and care plans.
• Use information systems to document care and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams for safe, coordinated care.
• Participate in safety, quality improvement and preceptor activities.
