Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring an RN to provide nursing care from admission to discharge in our Central Massachusetts facility. You will assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and supervise care within your unit.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN; ACLS is preferred if current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others according to job description and competency.
