Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Non-Exempt Registered Nurse for the day shift in the Operating Room. The role is on-site with a 6:45am–5:15pm schedule, 40 hours per week, and on-call requirements.

A signing bonus may be available, and internal equity will be considered in the final offer. Applicants must hold Massachusetts nursing licensure with BLS, ACLS as required, and BSN is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN; ACLS and unit certifications as applicable.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to team members per competency.
