Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is hiring an RN for the operating room in a full-time day shift. The role supports a busy OR with multiple specialties, requiring strong patient care, teamwork and adherence to policy.

NH RN license, BCLS/ACLS within stated timelines, BSN preferred, CNOR within 18 months, and prior OR experience is preferred. On-call every 4th weekend and holiday rotation; sign-on bonus eligible and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certification at hire or within 30 days.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• CNOR certification within 18 months or as criteria are met.
• One year of OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and circulate for all surgeries performed in the OR.

The inpatient surgical area is comprised of 4 operating rooms. Surgeries performed include plastic/reconstructive, ENT, vascular, general, laproscopic, orthopedic, urology, and OB/GYN. Nursing staff demonstrates the necessary skill and competencies required to assist and circulate for all types of surgeries performed in the department.

On-call requirement currently every 4th weekend (no weekday call); holiday rotation.
