Job summary

Call: Required

Block Schedule: Will try to accommodate, not guaranteed

RTO: Minimal requests preferred

EMR: Epic preferred

Scrubs: Teal

Unit Focus: Ortho/total joints, trauma, Neuro, GYN/Urology, Vascular, Thoracic

Required Skills

• General Surgery: Gastric bypass/sleeve, lap band, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, Whipple
• Vascular: AAA repair, carotid procedures, EVAR, fem-pop/renal artery bypass, vein stripping
• Thoracic: Lung/lobe resection, thoracotomy, mediastinoscopy, VATS, bronchoscopy
• ENT: Sinus procedures, laryngectomy, septoplasty/rhinoplasty, tonsillectomy, tracheostomy
• GI: Colonoscopy, PEG tube placement/exchange
• GYN: Hysterectomy, colporrhaphy, tubal ligation, D&C, vulvectomy, therapeutic abortion
• Neuro/Spine: Craniotomy, VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, cervical/lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF
• Orthopedics: ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, fracture reduction, total joint replacement, ankle fusion, bunionectomy
• Plastics: Abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, fat grafting, free flap/microvascular, TRAM flap reconstruction
• Urology: Cystectomy, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP, circumcision
