Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac OR/Operating Room in Rochester, NY for a 13-week contract.

Shifts are 12 hours, day shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly. NY RN license required; ACLS/BLS preferred; 2 years of OR cardiac experience.

The role involves scrubbing and circulating complex adult cardiac cases (CABG, TAVR, transplant) in an Adult Cardiac OR; onsite assignment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of cardiac OR experience required.
• NY RN license required.
• ACLS/BLS certification preferred.
• Scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases.
• Assist in CABG, TAVR, and other cardiac procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety.

Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 3×12-hour shifts — 36 hrs/week

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-hour shifts

Experience: 2 years required

License: NY RN License ONLY

Skills: Must independently scrub & circulate complex adult cardiac cases

Telemetry: Preferred if candidate has ACLS

Certifications: BLS & ACLS – AHA ONLY

• OR Experience: Level 1 Trauma preferred

• Skills: Must independently scrub & circulate complex adult cardiac cases

• Cases: CABG, TAVI/TAVR, structural heart (Bentall), Mini AVR, Impella, VAD, ECMO, Artificial Heart, Heart Transplants

• Preferred: Transplant & TAVI/TAVR experience

• Telemetry: Preferred if candidate has ACLS

• Certifications: BLS & ACLS – AHA ONLY
