Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Crestview, FL for a 13-week onsite contract. Shift is Days, 4 x 10-hour days with on-call duties, 6:30a-5p, weekends rotated.

Start date ASAP with 9/28/2026 kickoff. The RN will perform OR circulator duties, assist surgeons, and ensure case timeliness and patient safety in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs OR Circulator exp.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS (AHA or American Red Cross) required.
• Robotics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplies and timely case flow in the operating room.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases.
• Communicate with families and update physician preference cards.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR.

Shift: Days- 4 10s. 6:30a-5p with on call, rotating weekends

6-8 shifts/mo (1-2 per week), Call on weeknights is from 5pm to 0630 the next morning. Weekend call is a 24 hour shift on Saturday or Sunday 7a to 7a

Responsibilities

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT s and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
