Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Naples, FL. The role features 13 weeks in the operating room with day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, and call/holiday coverage. Expect float across campuses, AC LS, BLS, PALS required, with Cerner EMR experience a plus.

This Onsite contract includes weekly stipends and base pay, starting as soon as possible. AHCA fingerprint clearance is required prior to start.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred (2+ years).
• Travel RN operating room experience across multiple service lines.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist surgeons during operations.
• Ensure availability of supplies and case timeliness.
• Communicate with families and update physician preference cards.

Day Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week

Travel:(RN) / Operating Room (OR)
Duration: 13wks
Shift: Days (7a-5:30p) with call, holiday coverage
Naples , FL
Start Date: ASAP
Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Cerner EMR exp. 2 yrs exp- Service lines to include General, Urology, Spine, GYN, Ortho, Plastics, Breasts, Robotics.
Please note expectation to float between campuses as needed.
AHCA Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
