Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) for a day shift position in Slidell, LA. The contract runs for 8 weeks, starting 10/12/2026, with weekly stipends and base pay described in the posting. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and OR RN experience.

The RN will lead the nursing team within the OR, ensuring safe patient care, accurate documentation, and adherence to standards. Strong communication and delegation skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience preferred and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process for patients in OR.
  • Assess learning needs and provide teaching as needed.
  • Delegate and manage nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Utilize data to evaluate and promote improvements in patient outcomes.
  • Support patient satisfaction and maintain professional accountability.
