Mercy South OR is hiring RNs for a residency track with opportunities in Orthopedics, Neurology, and General surgery. New graduates and experienced nurses welcomed; a Fellowship path is available for OR entry without prior OR experience.

Five 8s day schedule, location in St. Louis area, with robust incentives including loan forgiveness for new grads and day-one insurance coverage. Education assistance and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with current RN license in hiring state.
• Willingness to participate in OR residency and cross-training.
• Current Basic Life Support certification; ACLS/NRP/ENPC may be required depending on unit.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
