Job summary

Mercy South OR is seeking new graduate and experienced nurses to join the Operating Room team. The program offers a residency for those new to OR and a fellowship track for those with no prior OR experience. Start date is February 22, 2027, with a five 8-hour day schedule and location at Mercy South, St.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a school of nursing (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy Service Standards.
