Job summary

Mercy South is seeking both new graduates and experienced nurses for OR roles in St. Louis, MO. Residency starts February 22, 2027, with a fellowship for those without OR experience.

Five 8-hour days per week, day shifts, and varied specialty pods including Orthopedics, Neurology, and General surgery are offered. Incentives include loan forgiveness up to $20,000 for new grads, education assistance, day-one insurance, and retirement match.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
