Job summary

Mercy South OR is seeking new graduate and experienced RNs to join a dynamic operating room team in St. Louis, MO. Five 8s day schedule, with opportunities to cross-train across OR pods, and a comprehensive benefits package from day one.

New graduates may enter a residency with an emphasis on Orthopedics, Neurology, and General surgery. Eligible incentives include loan forgiveness up to $20,000, tuition assistance, and retirement matching; relocation support may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/other certifications may be required based on unit.
• New graduates may participate in a dedicated residency/fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; ensures patient rights and confidentiality.
